This is the coolest Starbucks this side of Asia, and it’s located in Dazaifu, a city about a half hour southeast of Fukuoka. As I’ve been told, the city was the birthplace of Japanese zen. So fittingly, it has a Starbucks that is supposed to blend in perfect harmony with its surroundings, leading up to the historical and culturally important Tenmangu Shrine. If I lived in Dazaifu, I’d come here everyday to edit my photos while sipping Tazo Zen tea. You know, because Starbucks doesn’t have enough customers working away on their MacBooks.
